The nScribe Build Star is a robust doodling tool which can be trusted for long hours of usage. It cuts the frills and does what it does best – doodling. It doesn’t have an LCD for displaying the temperature or the preset for filament type but instead has 2 LED to display adaptor power status and temperature threshold. It has a small knob tucked under a rubber flap to vary operating temperature and it can be adjusted using a small slot head screw driver. There is a slider on the side to change the speed of filament extrusion and two buttons on the side to move the filament forward or backward. The nScribe Build Star works with a 12V adaptor and is compatible with ABS and PLA filaments of 1.75mm thickness.
